Mayor MidCoast Council
David moved to the MidCoast in 1987 and has spent more than 26 years representing the community serving in local government as a Councillor, Deputy Mayor and now Mayor.
His working life began through a partnership with his brother in a combined service station, earthmoving and plant hire business.
David later joined the NSW Police Force with a desire to serve the wider community but was medically discharged after being hurt while on duty.
He was fortunate enough to continue contributing to the community through dedication of time to volunteering with the St John Ambulance Brigade and Surf Life Saving.
David lives on a small farm and prioritises quality time with his family. He enjoys gardening and time in the kitchen with his my wife as they both share a love of cooking.
